Every new travel destination is a little happiness in itself. It doesn’t really matter for me how it goes and whether it is a smooth ride or full of troubles – whenever I see new places, new landscapes, new roads, I feel happy and fulfilled. Everything suddenly makes sense and that uneasy feeling of anxiety which I often experience fades away. On the road I feel at home, on the plane I feel excited, in a new place I feel alive.

This winter vacation was certainly not one of the easiest, beginning with my mom injuring her knee on the slope and ending with one of our suitcases getting lost, but it did not stop us from having a great New Year’s celebration and awesome time at the skiing resort. Here’s the proof!
