The Ultimate Florida Bucket List
If you think Florida is just about beaches, Miami, palm trees and Disney World - you are so wrong! Florida is so much more. In fact, you would need several weeks to explore all its wonders. I've tried to sum up the key places and activities here.
16 Things To Do In Florida:
1. First things first - visit Miami!
South Beach, Wynwood, Design District, Miami Downtown - at the very least.

2. Trip to Key Largo and Key West, famous chain of bridges including 7-mile bridge scenic drive.
3. Everglades is a must!
Try airboat tours, visit crocodile farms, go fishing.
4. East coast beaches.
West Palm, Melbourne, Jupiter. All different and beautiful!
5. West Coast beaches.
Clearwater, Sarasota.
6. Visit Saint Petersburg and Dali Museum.
7. Orlando and Disney World!
(just in case you haven't heard :-)
8. Another place not to be missed is Kennedy Space Center and space shuttle launch experience.
9. Florida is loaded with amazing States Parks and National Preserves.
I would recommend to see them all, but if you must choose - pick one in North Florida, another in the center and one more in South Florida. The nature is unique and very different. A few of my favorites are: Ichetucknee Springs Park, Suwannee River Park and Paynes Prairie Preserve.
10. Lake Okeechobee, hikes and boat rides.
11. Saint Augustine - the oldest city in US.
12. Sanibel and Captiva islands and incredible shell beaches.
13. Boating, jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding.
Visiting places is great but don't forget to be active and try things! In South Florida any water activities are a must do! Try them all!
14. Snorkeling and scuba diving.
One place to surely put on your list is Devil's Den Cave!
Key Largo snorkeling and the Christ statue is pretty amazing too.
15. Zip lines, parasailing, helicopter flights, paragliding and even hot air balloons!
When you are done with water - go in the air!
16. And the last but not least - amazing Florida zoos, seaquariums, safaris, parrot jungles etc.
Visit as many as you can!
Hit them all but most importantly - have fun in Florida!
